Student Records and Archives

Most student record information is available throughout the entire year. Below are some guidelines for requesting copies of your student records. If you need assistance, you may call our District Records office at 360-396-3588.
District Records maintains records for grades K-8 students who have withdrawn from our district. In addition, in our offsite storage facility, District Records maintains records for students who graduated from the district more than one year ago. If you are a more recent graduate, please contact the high school you last attended for copies of your student records. North Kitsap School District does not provide copies of diplomas. If you did not receive your original diploma at the time of graduation, please contact the school office at the high school from which you graduated.
All requests for records must be in writing and must include the following information:
  1. Student's legal name at time of graduation or withdrawal from district
  2. Student's date of birth
  3. Last North Kitsap school attended
  4. Year graduated or withdrawn
  5. Signature and date
    • If the student is under 18 years old, the parent/guardian must sign.
    • If the student is over 18 years old, the student must sign.
    • If the student is over 18 years old but is claimed as a dependent for income tax purposes, either the student or parent may sign.
If you are another K-12 educational institution, you may submit a written request on your school letterhead. You may fax your request to 360-396-3937. In this case, parent signature is not required unless you are requesting special education records.
