students working with a robotMost middle school students are enthusiastic users of information technology.  While adults in their lives may struggle to adapt to the increasingly sophisticated technologies, students take it for granted as a part of their everyday activity. Robotics is a new program designed to offer our middle school students the opportunity to experience hands-on real-world experiences in engineering, computer science, math and science through an integrated program that will give them the skills, knowledge, and attributes to succeed in the professional world of the future.

In many 21st century classrooms, students have opportunities to apply what they learn in math and science. In the Robotics classrooms, students actually learn math, science and engineering through creativity and hands on experiences with technology.  They will engage in investigations, tech challenges, and will work to create machines that can carry out automated actions. They will work with materials in ways that inspire them to solve problems, meet challenges and work collaboratively with others.
