After more than two years of research, and multiple pilots, the NKSD High School science teachers have determined that the Patterns Curriculum produced by the Portland Metro STEM Partnership best meets the needs of todays students. The three year curriculum meets the state standards and uses currently accepted pedagogical approaches.

As an Open Educational Resource it is constantly being edited and updated and therefore we will always have the most current version. It is also Google based and therefore ideal for our transition to Google Classroom this fall. A series of links are provided below that will allow you to view the materials and learn about the writers and the pedagogy behind the curriculum.
